Role Summary

The Solutions Architect is a key bridge between LISNR’s commercial and customer success teams. This role is responsible for scoping, defining, and validating solution proposals during the pre-contract process and supporting a smooth transition into implementation, ensuring a seamless customer journey from initial engagement through successful deployment. The Solutions Architect thinks two steps ahead—identifying implementation risks before they arise—and is committed to creating frictionless, scalable solutions that deliver measurable impact. This role combines consultative problem-solving with deep technical acumen, translating business goals into scalable, secure, and high-performing LISNR implementations. This person ensures that each opportunity is technically feasible, aligns with LISNR’s platform capabilities, and includes a clearly defined implementation path, anticipating potential challenges and unlocking the maximum value of LISNR’s Quest and Radius products for our customers.

Core Responsibilities

Pre-Contract Ownership

  • Act as the primary technical contact in pre-contract engagements, building confidence in LISNR’s scalability, security, and interoperability.
  • Design and document solution architectures, integration plans, and technical requirements (e.g., payload formats, SDK compatibility, implementation stages).
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility, surface risks early, and ensure proposed solutions are delivery-ready.
  • Support proposals, RFPs, contracts/SOWs, and provide demos or sample apps, ensuring all provisioning and legal steps are completed correctly.

Post-Contract Collaboration

  • Transition solution design and requirements into actionable implementation plans for the Implementation Engineer, and broader Customer Success and Engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to flag risk areas or opportunities surfaced during pre-contract discussions.
  • Assist in identifying technical stakeholders for post-contract coordination to ensure technical communication remains consistent and accurate across teams.
  • Conduct solution reviews post-deployment to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of all contracted features.
  • Feed customer feedback and implementation insights back into product and process improvements.

Organizational Alignment

  • Reports to VP of Customer Success

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or technical consulting role with a focus on enterprise pre-sale or post-sale integration design.
  • Hands-on experience with APIs, mobile SDKs (iOS, Android, or React Native), and backend infrastructure, including cloud environments, networking, and security.
  • Proven ability to design secure, scalable, and reliable system architectures that consider payload construction, device constraints, and long-term maintainability.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and clearly document integration paths.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, operating both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying risks and structuring solution frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with proximity-based technologies such as ultrasonic, NFC, BLE, or geofencing, especially in fintech, mobility, or retail environments. (Strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with Python, Java, JavaScript, Swift, or similar languages for debugging, prototyping, or solution validation.
  • Working knowledge of mobile development frameworks, identity and access systems, and payment or loyalty platforms.
  • Prior experience in startup or high-growth environments where roles span pre-sale scoping and post-sale execution.
  • Exposure to international markets and multicultural customer engagements, particularly in LATAM, India, or the EU.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
